Cliftonville Ladies, Linfield Women and Lisburn Rangers all recorded victories in the NIFL Women’s Premiership on Friday.

The Reds impressed in a 7-0 win over north Belfast rivals Crusaders Strikers at Seaview.

Kirsty McGuinness, Fionnuala Morgan and Charlotte Havern gave Cliftonville a three-goal advantage at the break an they pushed on in the second half as Caitlin McGuinness struck twice.

Havern netted her second of the game before an own goal by Chloe Beckinsale completed the rout.

Linfield were even more impressive at the Academy of Sport as they claimed 9-0 win over Larne Women.

The issue was beyond doubt by half-time as the Blues raced into a five-goal lead.

Sophie McKnight opened the scoring before Megan Bell added a brace, while Zoe McGlynn and Cora Chambers also got in on the act.

An own goal by Chloe Doak made it six, while Eve Reilly, Jane McMaster and Rhianna Breen also found the net on a good night for the south Belfast club.

It was much more dramatic at Crewe Park where Lisburn Rangers twice came from behind to snatch a 3-2 win over Derry City Women.

Chelsea Sheerin headed the Canystripes into the lead at half-time, but they were pegged back early in the second half by Caoimhe Gelston-Mulholland.

Derry City were soon back in front through Cache Crumlish-Hawes, but again Lisburn Rangers responded with Erin McGreevy levelling on 64 minutes.

It looked like it would finish honours even, but with six minutes remaining, Abbie Smyth found a winner for Rangers.

Defending champions Glentoran Women are in action on Saturday at 17:00 BST when they host Lisburn Ladies at the Blanchflower Stadium.
