The Miami Dolphins will welcome their rookie class from the 2026 NFL Draft to the team’s facility on Friday and Saturday (May 8th and 9th) for rookie minicamp — but before they do, the team announced jersey numbers for all 13 draft picks on Thursday evening.
Miami’s first round pick — offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor — will wear #74. Let’s hope he has more luck in that number than the last guy who wore it — the much maligned Liam Eichenberg.

After the departures of wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, two rookies find themselves in the vacated jersey numbers of both men — however both youngsters play on the other side of the football. Dolphins’ second round pick, linebacker Jacob Rodriguez, will don #10, while fourth round selection, defensive end Trey Moore, will rock the #17 threads.
For the first time since the 2011 season (Chad Henne), someone other than kicker Jason Sanders will wear #7 for the Dolphins — third round wide receiver, Caleb Douglas. The number was not worn after Henne’s departure until Sanders joined the team in 2018.
Speaking of wide receivers, Miami drafted three of them. Chris Bell will wear #18, while Kevin Coleman Jr. can be seen in #83.
Do you believe in superstitions? Since then, the players who have worn that number for Miami include Brandon Marshall (whose tenure was marred by multiple controversies), training camp legend, Legedu Naanee, Jakeem Grant, Skylar Thompson and Cedric Wilson Jr.
