Less than 48 hours after six players automatically qualified for the International Team’s 2026 Presidents Cup roster, Captain Geoff Ogilvy identified the other half dozen members on Tuesday.

Si Woo Kim, the only player in the top 20 of the Official World Golf Ranking on the 12-man team, headlines the International side at Medinah Country Club later this month.

Of the automatic qualifiers, three are major champions — Adam Scott, Hideki Matsuyma and Ryan Fox, with Fox’ triumph at Royal Birkdale vaulting him to No. 25 in the OWGR. The other two automatic qualifying bids went to Min Woo Lee and Tom Kim, who round out the world’s top 30 players as of Sept. 1.

While Ogilvy’s captain’s picks bring a combined zero major championships to the table, Sungjae Im, Christiaan Bezuidenhout and Corey Conners do carry experience having played at Quail Hollow in 2022 and Royal Montreal in 2024 — both tournaments won by the Americans.

The other three captain’s picks are far more green in terms of history on this stage (see: none). Those players are Colombia’s Nico Echavarria, Japan’s Ryo Hisatsune and Canada’s Nick Taylor.

Veteran Jason Day was the highest-ranking international player (No. 67 overall) to be snubbed by Ogilvy, suggesting his back injury is still bothering him. Day missed the FedExCup Playoffs for the first time in his career earlier this summer.

A trio of South Africans — Casey Jarvis, Aldrich Potgieter, and Jayden Schaper — were also up for consideration but failed to make the final roster.

The Presidents Cup will air on Golf Channel and NBC from Thursday, Sept. 24, through Sunday, Sept. 27. The U.S. leads the all-time series 13-1-1 and enters as the defending champion, with a team headlined by Scottie Scheffler, Cameron Young and Wyndham Clark.
