Adam Schefter reported on May 11 that the first SNF matchup will be between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants.
After what most saw as a strong draft, Dallas opened up as a slight road favorite over its division rival. Meanwhile, the total is set at 47.5, with the books pricing the Over at -115.
Lions vs. Bills odds
The first Thursday Night Football game of the 2026 NFL season will feature the Detroit Lions visiting the Buffalo Bills on Sept. 17 in the first regular-season game at the new Highmark Stadium.
