It’s crunch time at the 2025 Wyndham Championship. For one, there are now 54 holes left to determine the winner of the PGA Tour’s regular-season finale. Time is also running out for those grinding to make the top 70 in the FedEx Cup points race, as only the top 70 (down from 100) make the postseason.

And three, there are just 18 holes left for those scrambling to make the cut.

Starting on Friday morning at 82nd in the FedEx Cup standings and at 1 under, Rasmus Højgaard needs a big day on Friday to not only make the weekend, but then have a chance to make the playoffs.

Things have not gone well. Højgaard started the day on No. 10 with a bogey, followed with a birdie, but then made another bogey on 13 before really watching the wheels fall off on No. 14 when he missed the green on his second shot of a par 4 and then three-putted from 20 feet for a double. As of 8:15 a.m., he’s even for the tournament and in real trouble.

To start the day, the official projected cut line is 2 under, but expect that to move throughout the day, with it either landing on 3 or 4 under.

Update 8 p.m. (Thu.): What’s projected cut at 2025 Wyndham?

In 2024, the cut came in at 4 under, but the 36-hole cut didn’t come until Sunday due to inclement weather earlier in the week. Here in 2025, the cut as of 8 p.m. on Thursday night, is projected to be 4 under, according to datagolf. The PGA Tour cut rules state that the low 65 and ties after 36 holes advance.
