David Moyes dispelled rumours Everton will be forced to sell Jarrad Branthwaite.
In the wake of the club coming under the auspices of The Friedkin Group after their successful takeover in December, Moyes reiterated that the Toffees remain determined to keep hold of their best and brightest.
āI donāt know all about PSR, but I do know weāve still got some work to do in the summer,ā said Moyes.
āI was aware of it when I came in, but Iām hoping that weāre going to stop thinking about that now and begin to start thinking about how weāre moving forward.ā
This comes after increased concerns that star manĀ JarradĀ Branthwaite may have to be sold, but Moyes offered assurances that Everton would only part ways with the England international for a considerable fee.
āJarrad is a top player, if people want to buy Jarrad then Iāve said many times, bring a big bag of money.ā
He continued; āJarrad has done really well. I think he could do better. Thereās still moments at times when he plays like a young centre-back, but I think heās got an awful lot going for him.ā
Everton lock horns with struggling Manchester United tomorrow as Moyes looks to keep the club on track to remain in the Premier League.
