The Frauen-Bundesliga kicked off the 2025/26 season this Friday evening with the encounter between Eintracht Frankfurt and SGS Essen. Eintracht immediately made a statement.
With goals from Nicole Anyomi (24′), Géraldine Reuteler (34′, 69′), Amanda Ilestedt (45′), and Remina Chiba (81′), the Eagles claimed a commanding 5-0 victory and underlined their ambitions for the championship title right from the first matchday.
