Aston Villa have confirmed the signing of Evann Guessand from Nice for a reported fee of €30m (£26.3m), with an additional €5m in add-ons.

The Ivory Coast international has joined the Premier League outfit on a five-year contract.
Guessand drew plenty of transfer interest this summer, with Crystal Palace also previously monitoring the striker's situation, before he joined the Villans.
The 24-year-old impressed for Nice in Ligue 1 last season, scoring 12 goals and making nine assists in 33 appearances, and will likely provide competition for Villa striker Ollie Watkins.
