Athletic Club has confirmed the departure of Aingeru Olabarrieta, who will play on loan at FC Andorra, a team in the Second Division, next season.
This will be the first experience outside of Lezama’s academy for the 21-year-old youth player, who has been there for the last decade. The loan agreement does not include a purchase option and contains penalties if the player does not have an active participation in the team.
Olabarrieta, who made his debut with Athletic’s first team last season, will be under the orders of former footballer Ibai Gómez, who will be his coach at the Andorran club.
