Inter’s race toward another Scudetto appears to be right on track as the Nerazzurri entertains visiting Atalanta in Italy’s fashion capital.
Cristian Chivu looked on as Italian starlet Francesco Pio Esposito gave the home side a 1-0 lead in the 26th minute, with the academy product continuing to turn heads at home and abroad.

That hit, his 5th across the 2025/26 Serie A campaign, may well have dropped an easter egg as to why the club is sitting high on their league perch this season.
Esposito became the seventh Inter player to reach that goal tally on the domestic front this term, with no other club across Europe’s top five leagues able to boast the same tally.
Boasting goalscoring variety and multiple threats in the final third, this could be the ace up Chivu’s sleeve that pushes Inter back to the domestic summit.
