In his first at-bat, Bellinger hit a 96 mph sinker in on his hands through the right side and underneath the Charlotte shortstop’s glove. Bellinger flied out to right field in his second at-bat and popped out to the shortstop in his third at-bat.

In 102 games before his hamstring injury, Bellinger slashed .259/.350/.420 with 11 home runs and 53 RBI.
