The Yankees may be dealing with a big blow as Aaron Judge is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies with what manager Aaron Boone called an "elbow issue."

Per Boone, the slugger got imaging done before the game and the team is waiting for the results.

"Obviously concerned, but we’ll wait and see as they read the imaging and hopefully I have more of that later today," Boone said.

The skipper mentioned that Judge first felt something in his elbow on a throw during the previous series against the Blue Jays in Toronto. After a day off on Thursday, New York felt as though Judge was fine, but the injury popped up again in Friday's loss.

"Just last night (he) was really dealing with it," Boone said. "He couldn’t really throw well from the outfield."

How the injury affects Judge's swinging remains to be seen, with Boone unsure. When asked if he was worried it could be a UCL injury, Boone said he didn't know.

"Hopefully it’s something that’s manageable and we can get through it," Boone said.
