Wyndham Clark enjoyed an incredibly successful season on the PGA Tour in 2026.
Clark returned to the winners’ circle for the first time since February 2024 at the CJ CUP Byron Nelson in May.
He then added a second US Open title to his résumé at Shinnecock Hills in June, before winning a FedEx Cup playoff event at the BMW Championship.

Wyndham Clark reestablished himself as one of the best golfers on the planet in 2026, and he will be desperate to get up and running again in 2027.

The six-time PGA Tour winner is very hard to stop when he’s on top form.
Clark’s game is definitely more well-rounded now than it was a few years ago, but one of his strengths isn’t exactly orthodox.

While speaking on The Smylie Show, Smylie Kaufman raved about the current state of Clark’s game.
Kaufman also highlighted how uniquely brilliant the 32-year-old’s chipping action is.

“His short game is super underrated. It’s really weird, too,“ Kaufman admitted.
“Next time we have Wyndham on the show, I actually want to break down, like, the ‘scoopiness’ in which he plays his chips with, and, like, the quickness of his tempo.

“It almost looks like you wouldn’t teach it, because most teachers now are, like, ‘it’s your spine angle over here, a descending below and Wyndham’s like, ‘no, I’m gonna scoop this thing’.
“But the thing just pops up and it’s great.“
Interestingly, chipping was the strongest part of Clark’s game in 2026. He ranked 14th in strokes gained around the green.

He ranked 21st in strokes gained approach and 24th in strokes gained putting.
Wyndham Clark has completely changed his driving
Kaufman went on to praise Clark’s improvement off the tee in 2026.
“To me, he is the one that’s, like, he’s back in the best players in the world conversation, and he was that way for me in 2023,“ Kaufman said.
“I think we’re seeing a better version of him now because he used to hit these big banana fades, and I remember watching him hit these draws off tees at Bay Hill this year.
“I’m like, ‘man, he’s working it both ways now’.

“He would always have this, like, big banana shot that he would play and he’d primarily hit fades.
“But now, dude, his ball flight is so straight.
“Like, he hits such a straight golf ball and, to me, that just screams consistency.“
