Ready to explore Khaz Algar? Here’s a complete campaign list for World of Warcraft: The War Within, including Siren Isle and Undermine.

The War Within is arguably one of the most lore-packed World of Warcraft expansions to date, offering both story-driven PvE content and plenty of major questlines for players to dig into.

Below, we’ve gathered up the entire WoW TWW campaign list, including every major quest and the chains for both Siren Isle and the Undermine(d) update. Whether you’re running through the campaign on your first character or your thirteenth, you’re sure to find something new in Khaz Algar.

WoW The War Within complete campaign quest list

The main campaign in The War Within is split into three parts, and it takes a significant amount of time to wrap up, especially if you’re a fan of side quests and treasure-hunting.

You start off with Visions of Azeroth, which sets the tone for the story ahead and introduces you to the key characters. This then takes you into the Khaz Algar zone quest campaigns, before dropping you into the main quest line for TWW.

After you’ve wrapped up the full campaign list, you can continue the story by exploring the Siren Isles and working through the A Song of Secrets chain, before diving underground and exploring Undermine, the latest city to join the map.

Visions of Azeroth

The Visions of Azeroth campaign is the first you do when jumping into The War Within expansion. It takes you to Silithus, Dalaran, and eventually, the Isle of Dorn.

To start Visions of Azeroth, you must be at least level 68 for the first quest to appear in your quest log, so check out our speed-leveling guide for the expansion if your character isn’t quite there yet. The full quest chain is as follows:

Adventuring in Khaz Algar finishes in Dornogal, presenting you with an option of zones on the Scouting Map. When you’ve picked a zone, you’ll be able to continue onwards and dig into the Khaz Algar quests.

Khaz Algar

The best way to think about Khaz Algar’s quest chain is as a series of smaller, zone-based campaigns. You need to be level 80 and work on your Renown with each major faction to start the main TWW campaign, so these quests are worth doing.

If you’re hoping to pick up the meta achievements for each zone while leveling up your character, the storylines to watch out for are:

Completing each zone’s meta achievement along with each zone’s Sojourner achievement (awarded for optional storylines) will reward you with the Loremaster of Khaz Algar achievement. This will unlock the Crimson Cartographer’s Orientation appearance.

By the time you finish up the last storyline in this list, you should be max level and sitting at a high enough Renown level to jump into the main campaign for the expansion.

The War Within main campaign

The War Within campaign is the third and final part of this expansion’s main story. You unlock it by reaching level 80 and Renown Level four with all factions during the Khaz Algar campaign.

There are five chapters to complete in the main campaign list, with the first quest—Surface Bound—starting with Moira Thaurissan on the Isle of Dorn.

Finishing Return to Dornogal will wrap up the fifth chapter of TWW‘s main campaign, rewarding you with an achievement titled The War Within and helping you to progress with other milestones in the expansion like unlocking the Earthen Allied Race.

“A Song of Secrets” Siren Isle campaign

The Siren Isle are was introduced into WoW with Patch 11.0.7, offering up a rich quest chain alongside plenty of treasure, additional quests, and fun challenges.

The main questline on Siren Isle is called A Song of Secrets, and you’ll need to be level 80 before you can jump into it. The first quest, The Expedition Awaits, kicks off with the character Dawn in the city of Dornogal, and the full quest chain can be seen below:

Undermine campaign

The most recent addition to TWW‘s storyline is the Undermine zone, a bustling, underground city that you’ll be able to access at max level.

To play through the Undermine quest line, you will need to have completed the main TWW leveling campaign on at least one character. Thankfully, the progress on this is tied to your Warband, so you won’t need to repeat it for every alt.

The full Undermine story quest campaign is separated into six different chapters, taking place after an introductory quest chain. Pick up the quest When Opportunity Explodes to get straight into the first chapter and visit Undermine for the first time.

Completing Homecoming’s final quest will reward you with a meta achievement called Undermined. There’s a lot to unpack story-wise in World of Warcraft right now, especially when you throw extra elements like Allied Races and Sojourner achievements into the mix.
