The World Golf Hall of Fame announced the finalists for its Class of 2027 on Monday, including, Justin Rose, Adam Scott, Inbee Park and Jim Nantz, who have all been nominated for the first time.
“This distinguished group deserves recognition for the lasting impact they made on the sport in their own way as competitors, teachers, architects, broadcasters and innovators,” Mike Trostel, director of the World Golf Hall of Fame, said.

The 14 finalists are broken into four categories: male competitors, female competitors, historic players and amateurs and contributors. The Class of 2027 inductees will be announced in December, prior to the official Hall of Fame ceremony next July.

Male Competitors:
Competitors who are at least 45 years old during the year of an Induction Ceremony or retired from competitive golf for at least three years.
Female Competitors:
Competitors who are at least 45 years old during the year of an Induction Ceremony or retired from competitive golf for at least three years.

Historic Players and Amateurs:
Competitors who achieved the majority of their victories either as amateurs or more than 50 years ago.
Contributors:
Individuals who have impacted the game significantly in areas outside of the competitive arena:

The 2027 World Golf Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony takes place July 12, 2027, in St Andrews, Scotland, during the week of The Open Championship and will be broadcast live on Golf Channel.
