The Black Hills golf team took down W.F. West at Tumwater Valley Golf Course on Wednesday, when the Wolves defeated the Bearcats 204-216.
Black Hills was led by sub-40 efforts from Kendell Roberson and Logan Stallings, who shot a 38 and 39, respectively. Jack Casler added a 41, Ethan Badger a 42, and Landon Echols a 44.
Emmett Goodman carded a 40 to lead the Bearcats, though Jamie Conzatti wasn’t far behind with a 41. Fox Rogerson, Beckman Dvorak, and Jax Potter all logged 45s.
Both teams played on aerified greens, so both the Wolves and Bearcats played with an auto two-putt because of the course conditions.
Both teams are back in action on Monday. W.F. West will host Centralia at Newaukum Valley, while Black Hills will head to Alderbrook Golf and Yacht Club in Union to face Shelton.
