Athlete of the Week Candidates

Jack Mast, Hiland boys golf

At last week’s Division III East District golf tournament at Greens Golf Course, Mast won the individual district title, shooting 72, and helped lead the Hawks to the team district title.

Waynedale boys golf team, boys golf

The Waynedale boys golf team of Jordan Miller, Cooper Miller, Hank Miller, Logan Troyer and Cameron Miller finished as runners-up at the Division II Northeast District tournament at Windmill Lakes Golf Course. The Golden Bears will be competing at the state tournament this week.

Carson Arnold, Norwayne football

In Norwayne’s 49-0 home victory over Chippewa on Friday, Arnold rushed for a game-high 95 yards on 14 carries and two touchdown runs on 6.6 yards per carry.
