Who wouldn’t want to go to the potential wedding of the year?
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and singer-songwriter superstar Taylor Swift are preparing for their reported wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3. Over the last 24 hours leading up to the event, several notable figures have appeared to make the trip to New York for the marquee event.

In the lead-up to the reported wedding, USA TODAY Sports is keeping track of all of the biggest sports stars rumored to be in New York to attend.
Already, it appears as though Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is in town with some of his and Kelce’s former teammates. Tony Romo, a former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and current CBS on NFL analyst, is also in New York, USA TODAY Sports has learned.

Travis Kelce and his brother, Jason, are obviously the main sports stars involved in Travis and Taylor Swift’s wedding, but that doesn’t mean invites have exclusively gone to other NFL stars.
According to a report from the New York Post, the five members of the New York Knicks’ championship-winning starting lineup received invites to Swift’s wedding to the Kansas City Chiefs’ star tight end. That lineup includes point guard and NBA Finals MVP Jalen Brunson, as well as Mikal Bridges, Josh Hart, OG Anunoby and Karl-Anthony Towns.
Swift is a noted Knicks fan, having attended multiple games at Madison Square Garden even before the team’s NBA championship run. During the NBA Finals this year, Swift and some of her friends wore Knicks-themed T-shirts to Game 4, where they were courtside to witness the largest comeback in NBA Finals history.
This year’s Knicks team, the first to win an NBA title since 1973, made enough of an impression to earn invites to Swift’s nuptials. They’re reportedly part of a guest list reported to exceed 1,000 people.
