Oscar Valdez vs. Ricky Medina will be at the Montreal Casino on September 6. Fight night starts at 10 p.m. ET. Valdez and Medina should make their way to the ring around 12 a.m. ET, depending on how long the undercard fights last.
The 34-year-old Valdez (32-3) is a former featherweight and super featherweight champion. He lost the WBC title against Shakur Stevenson in 2022 and has attempted to recapture his former glory. The Mexican lost against Emanuel Navarrete twice for the WBO super featherweight title.
Now 2-2 in his last four fights, Valdez is ready to return to the top of boxing. First, he must get past the young Medina.

A former amateur champion, Medina (16-3) is 2-2 in his last four fights, beating Angel Hernandez for his ninth win via knockout. The 24-year-old is 4-0 in Mexico and looks to take down the veteran in Valdez.
