The Asian swing shifts into high gear in Beijing this week with the China Open, a combined ATP (men’s) and WTA (women’s) event.

The tournament is one of the season’s biggest WTA stops and the penultimate 1000 event before the Finals in Riyadh. Led by six-time Grand Slam champion Iga Swiatek, the women’s field will feature eight of the current WTA Top 10. The draw size for the women’s event is 96 players while that for men is 32 players.

Meanwhile, Jannik Sinner will be the top seed and favourite to win the ATP 500 event. The field carries some star power as Daniil Medvedev, Alexander Zverev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Alex de Minaur are set to make the trip.
