WATCH: Charlie Woods tees off at Florida state golf championship
Charlie Woods and the Benjamin boys golf team took second place at the 2024 Florida Class 1A state championship this week at Howey-in-the-Hills.
Benjamin School golfers Charlie Woods and Kai Trump wrapped up play at the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley in South Carolina this weekend.
Woods, the son of legendary golfer Tiger Woods, and Kai Trump, the granddaughter of U.S. President Donald J. Trump, competed against a global field in a tournament billed as “the most prestigious event in junior golf.”
Woods finished the tournament 11-over and 25th out of 36 golfers in the boys field. Trump finished the tournament 52-over and last out of 24 golfers in the girls field.
Here’s a look at what’s on the upcoming junior golf schedule for Woods and Trump, including tournaments that coincide with Benjamin School’s spring break:
When is Kai Trump’s next junior golf tournament?
Trump is on the invite list for The Nelly Invitational at The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton on May 1-4.
In 2025, Trump has competed in two non-AJGA events that are eligible for the AJGA’s Rolex Rankings: the Dustin Johnson World Junior Championship in February and the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley in March.
Trump was an All-County selection for Benjamin last fall and finished her junior campaign as the No. 151 ranked girls golfer in Florida. She is committed to play collegiate golf at the University of Miami.
When is Charlie Woods’ next junior golf tournament?
Woods is currently not listed in any upcoming AJGA event fields or invite lists.
Benjamin School is on spring break from March 24-28, which coincides with the schedule for the Will Lowery Junior Championship in North Carolina. Woods made his AJGA debut at the event last year, finishing tied for 32nd. He is not listed among the field or alternates for the 2025 event.
Last season, Woods competed in AJGA events on a bimonthly basis, playing in three tournaments in March, May and July 2024.
In 2025, Woods has competed in two non-AJGA events that are eligible for the AJGA’s Rolex Rankings: the Dustin Johnson World Junior Championship in February and the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley in March.
Woods played on Benjamin’s No. 2 line last fall and finished his sophomore campaign as the No. 11 boys golfer in Florida per iWanamaker. In 2023, Woods was part of Benjamin boys golf’s state championship team.
