Underdog Alex Smalley leads a tightly-packed field at the top of the leaderboard going into Sunday’s final round, with a two-shot advantage over five players all tied for second place, including Ryder Cup stars Jon Rahm and Ludvig Aberg.

McIlroy sits one shot further back, alongside the American trio of Xander Schauffele, Patrick Reed and Maverick McNealy, and well placed for a last-day charge to win his third US PGA title.
The top 30 players are separated by just five strokes, setting up a nailbiting finale at Aronimink Golf Club.
