The recent epic third bout between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano streamed live on Netflix. And while it didn’t hit the same kind of numbers as Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson, it was watched by several millions.

According to a report by MMA Fighting, the third meeting between the two averaged nearly six million global viewers from the start of it until the final bell sounded. Taylor scored a majority decision to improve to 3-0 all-time against Serrano and retain her titles.

Almost 20,000 filled Madison Square Garden in New York City, with the entire boxing event generating a live gate of $2.63 million.

The viewership numbers make it the highest-rated women’s sporting event to take place in 2025 to date. The event was ranked No. 1 in the United States along with three other countries, making the Top 10 in 43 more countries around the globe.

An estimated AMA of 4.2 million viewers watched the bout. While impressive, the numbers failed to match that of the rematch, which had 47 million average minute audience in the U.S. and 74 million live viewers globally.

Of course, that bout had Paul and Tyson to help drive the traffic up.
