A late crash changed the picture of the Daytona 500, the first race of the NASCAR season.

On lap 185 of the scheduled 200, Joey Logano was running fifth and made a move to the inside coming out of turn 2 and was blocked by Ricky Stenhouse Jr., who continued to move Logano to the inside.

Logano made contact with Kyle Busch but they continued forward. Logano’s front bumper connected with Stenhouse’s left rear quarter panel, which spun him continued to the inside and hit both Busch and Logano’s Team Penske teammate Ryan Blaney.

Several cars, including Chase Elliott, Brad Keselowski, Todd Gilliland, Cole Custer and Noah Gragson, were caught up in the crash.

Busch appears to be able to continue, Logano is out of the race.

Corey LaJoie took the lead under the ensuing caution.
