University of North Florida junior Kaitlyn Schroeder saved her best for last, but it wasn’t enough to catch Florida State’s Sophia Fullbrook on March 22 in the final round of the FSU Match Up at the Seminole Legacy Golf Course.
Schroeder posted a closing 68 but a 70 was enough for Fullbrook to close out the Seminoles’ 70th individual championship in school history and the 28th team title in the 16 years under coach Amy Bond. Fullbrook, who had a second-round 67, finished at 10-under 206 while Schroeder posted her third career runner-up finish and ninth top 10 at 5-under 211.
University of North Florida junior Kaitlyn Schroder recorded her ninth career top-10 finish on March 22 with a second in Florida State’s Match Up tournament.
FSU shot 4-under as a team to beat Eastern Michigan by eight shots and win the tournament for the sixth time in 13 years. UNF finished seventh at 29-over

Quinn and Ricard shot 6-under 138 (68-70) and fended off Caldabaugh and Keyer-Scott (72-67), who rallied in the final round to finish at 5-under.
Caldabaugh made two birdies on the front and Keyer-Scott three on the back but Quinn’s birdie at No. 17 and pars on the final two holes for Caldabaugh and Keyer-Scott were the difference.
Quinn won her fifth FSGA title and Caldabaugh was denied a third.
Shauna Snyder of Ponte Vedra and Christine Hunt of Fernandina Beach (147) tied for fifth. Liz Breza and Xiaolin Jones of St. Augustine (156) won the Senior Flight.

Rattigan (70-66) then birdied the second hole to win.
