The TSSAA golf state tournament continues in Sevierville with the Class A and Division II-A boys and girls competitions taking place Oct. 9 and 10.
Here’s how to follow the Tennessee high school golf state tournament live scoring, players to watch the rest of the week and a round-up of results thus far in Class AA and DII-AA.

TSSAA golf state tournament 2025 scores in Class AA, DII-AA
The TSSAA golf state tournament championships in Class AA and DII-AA concluded on Oct. 7.
Here’s a quick recap:
● Class AA boys: Hardin Valley won the program’s first state title, finishing at 5-under 571). Walker Valley’s Cody Walter won the individual title by two shots at 6-under 138.
● Class AA girls: Page claimed back-to-back team state championships after finishing with a 289. Dickson County’s Poppy Pewitt won her first individual state title with an even-par 140.
● Division II-AA boys: Brentwood Academy won its third straight team title, finishing at 4-under 572. MUS standout Brantley Moore captured the individual crown, carding a 4-under 140.
● Division II-AA girls: Baylor shot 298 to claim the team championship. St. Mary’s Jada Lin shot 2-under 138 to win the individual title.

TSSAA golf state tournament 2025 players to watch in Day 3-4
Here are a few golfers to watch in the Class A and Division II-AA fields on Oct. 9 and 10.
Sydney May, Anderson County, Sr.: May shot 79 in last week’s region tournament for girls team champion Anderson County.
Catherine Bowie, Hutchison, So.: The defending Division II-A girls champion comes in after shooting a 66 at regionals.
Nolan Smith, Jackson Christian, Sr.: Smith finished ninth in DII-A boys last year and is coming off a 6-under 66 region championship finish.
Alexis Cipriano, PCA, Sr.: The UAB commitment could be a threat in DII-A girls. She has five top-five finishes this season with a 38.4 nine-hole average. She shot 73 to finish as regional tournament runner-up.
Shelby Smith, Stewart County, Sr.: Smith enters as the defending Class A girls individual champion, after repeating and district and region champion this season.
Hadlie Campbell, Summertown, Jr.: Campbell is coming off a region title after shooting 75 last week.
Houston Brasfield, USJ, Sr.: Brasfield tied for fourth in DII-A boys last season and was a region tournament runner-up last week after shooting 69.
Jade Phothong, Webb School – Bell Buckle, eighth grader: Phothong didn’t play in the 2024 DII-AA girls championship but shot a 1-over 72 in the region tournament last week.
Thatsakon Phothong, Webb School – Bell Buckle, So.: The 2023 Division II-AA boys state champion shot 6-under 66 to win a region title last week.
