The club was cited for nine violations that “may result in an unacceptable health risk” among 18 violations overall.

The inspector determined the site was not up to par in shielding diners from contamination. The club was found not in compliance for “proper separation of raw meat and raw eggs from ready-to-eat food,” “food protected from contamination” and “food contact surfaces properly cleaned.”

“Too many critical and noncritical violations found at the time of inspection. [Person in charge] fails to demonstrate knowledge of food safety,” the inspector noted.

Some problems were corrected during the May 6 inspection, others later. Hours after Forbes’ report published on Wednesday, the club had its reinspection, which elevated the club’s grade of a “conditionally satisfactory” C to a B, the outlet wrote. Such health department visits are supposed to be unannounced.

Neither Trump nor the New Jersey club immediately responded to a HuffPost request for comment.
