Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars pulled off one of the biggest upsets of the 2025 NFL season on Monday night over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Lawrence led the Jags down the field for a game-winning drive that was capped by a rushing touchdown from the Jacksonville quarterback, who stumbled at the start of the play.
Lawrence produced his best throw of the game to Brian Thomas Jr. to set up the red-zone opportunity late in the fourth quarter.
Lawrence finished with 221 passing yards, 54 rushing yards and three total touchdowns.
The 4-1 Jags are now a true playoff contender in the AFC. They’ll have a chance to beat more tough opponents before their Week 8 bye. They play the Seattle Seahawks at home in Week 6 and then go to London to take on the Los Angeles Rams.
