The pieces continue falling into place for the 2025 racing lineup, with Toni Breidinger the latest to land a new ride and promotion for the next NASCAR season.
The 25-year-old California native has been handed the keys to the No. 5 Toyota, from David Gilliland’s Tricon Garage, for the 2025 Truck Series season.
While female racers are still fairly rare in NASCAR, they’re becoming commonplace with Gilliland’s Truck Series team, which fielded full-time truck rides in 2021-22 for Hailie Deegan.

Breidinger is no stranger to the Gilliland team and Truck Series. She’s run four races there over the past two seasons, with a best finish of 15th at Kansas. She’s part of the Toyota Racing Development roster.
Breidinger ran the full ARCA season this year for Venturini Motorsports, posting 11 top-10s in 20 starts and finishing fourth in the season-long points standings. She has 65 career ARCA starts since 2018, with 27 top-10 finishes.
Not many Victoria’s Secret models in NASCAR
A marketing advantage is rarely wasted in motorsports, and Breidinger certainly has one. As for racers who have also modeled for Victoria’s Secret, you can count them on one finger.
Breidinger’s next high-profile modeling gig comes soon. She’s been chosen as one of a few athletes to take part in next year’s Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition — joining Olympic champ Gabby Thomas and WNBA player Cameron Brink.
Breidinger began racing go-karts at age 9 at Sonoma Raceway and turned to stock cars in her late teens.
The 2025 Truck Series season begins Feb. 14 at Daytona, two days ahead of the 67th Daytona 500.
