Amid rumors that Tom Brady is on his way to gain approval from NFL owners as the minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders at the upcoming Fall owners meeting on Tuesday, as reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the NFL legend continued his broadcasting duties on Sunday, covering the Detroit Lions vs. Dallas Cowboys game for Fox.
As the Lions dominated the Cowboys in a 47-9 blowout at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, Brady joined Kevin Burkhardt in the booth to call the game.
Brushing off concerns that he may face “severe” limitations to his broadcasting career if granted minority ownership, according to ESPN’s Seth Wickersham, the seven-time Super Bowl champion appeared fully focused on his work under his 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox
Since his rocky start in Week 1, when he called the game between the Cowboys and the Cleveland Browns, Brady has been fluctuating between winning over fans and alienating others with his broadcasting. Following Sunday’s, Week 6 game, viewers still had mixed feelings about his commentary.
