After premiering his new movie at the New York Film Festival on Monday and revealing his shaved haircut the following day, Timothée Chalamet ventured over to the Bronx on Wednesday for a date night with Kylie Jenner to watch the New York Yankees in the MLB playoffs.

Chalamet, wearing a Yankees bomber jacket, and Jenner were seated right behind home plate in Yankee Stadium where they unfortunately saw the Yankees’ season end with a 5-2 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays in Game 5 of the ALDS.

Per Madison E. Goldberg of People, Chalamet showed off his buzzcut for the first time on Tuesday even though there had been indications dating back to the summer that he changed his hair when he was photographed wearing a baseball hat and bandana that “partially hid his head, which seemed to be shaved.”

Jenner’s attire included a Marty Supreme bomber jacket in honor of Chalamet’s upcoming movie set to be released on Christmas Day.

There is speculation that Chalamet, who has traditionally had long, curly hair, cut his locks for Dune: Part Three. Production on the sequel began in July in Budapest. The film is scheduled to be released on Dec. 18, 2026.

The Yankee Stadium cameras did capture Chalamet on the jumbotron at one point in the game when he enthusiastically declared “Yanks in five” to get the crowd fired up.

Unfortunately, it was not meant to be and the Yankees’ drought without winning a World Series title is now at 16 years. This has also been a rough year for Chalamet as a sports fan.

The Oscar-nominated actor was also front and center at Madison Square Garden throughout the New York Knicks’ playoff run last spring before they lost in the Eastern Conference Finals to the Indiana Pacers.

Even though the Yankees and Knicks have let Chalamet down, his spirits should be high since Marty Supreme received rapturous reviews after its surprise premiere on Monday at the New York Film Festival.

On top of that, the Knicks will begin the 2025-26 season against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Oct. 22.
