There’s been plenty of rain so far but the first round of the 2025 PGA Championship on Thursday is shaping up to be a better weather day.

According to the forecast by Accuweather, Quail Hollow Club, host venue for the championship, will a day that is “partly sunny and humid” but only a very small chance of rain.

Thursday’s high temperature is expected to be 86 degrees, the warmest day so far this week, and there is a eight percent chance of precipitation and just a two percent change of thunderstorms.

What is the weather forecast for the rest of the week at the PGA Championship?

Accuweather says Friday looks to be the warmest day of the week, peaking at 90 degrees with perhaps late-day thunderstorm.

Saturday is looking at a high of 87 with a 40-percent chance of a “stray afternoon thunderstorm” while Sunday should reach 88 with some cloudy skies but a minimal chance of a rainshower.

Has there ever been a Monday finish at the PGA Championship?

No one is predicting that for 2025, but history shows that there have only been three Monday finishes at the PGA and none since 2005 when Phil Mickelson won his second major.
