The first major of the year is in the books, and the PGA Tour’s latest signature event is here.
The 2025 RBC Heritage kicks off Thursday at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Scottie Scheffler is the defending champion, and he’ll have to battle most of the top-10 players in the world this week, like Xander Schauffele, Ludvig Aberg, Collin Morikawa and others.
Masters winner Rory McIlroy is not in the field this week. He’s expected to defend his title next week at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans with partner Shane Lowry.
The purse at the RBC Heritage is $20 million, with $3.6 million going to the winner along with 700 FedEx Cup points.
