Jin Young Ko wrapped up play at the HSBC Women’s World Championship, and six days later, she walked down the aisle. The 30-year-old recently confirmed the joyful news on Instagram, calling it “the happiest day in my life.”
Ko was slated to compete in this week’s Fortinet Founders Cup, which she has won on three different occasions. She pulled out of the Founders Cup and next week’s Ford Championship, however, with a hand injury.
Former No. 1 Jin Young Ko tied the knot earlier this month in South Korea.
“I will have some good treatment in Korea,” she wrote on Instagram. “And I hope to see you in Vegas when I’m 100 percent ready.”

The LPGA’s Aramco Championship will be held April 2-5 in Las Vegas at Shadow Creek.
Ko is a 15-time winner on the LPGA, including two major championship titles. She has played twice this year on the LPGA, in Thailand and Singapore, and is currently No. 37 in the world. She spent 163 weeks atop the Rolex Rankings, the longest of any player. Ko’s most recent LPGA victory came at the 2023 Cognizant Founders Cup
