Porsche launched the 911 S/T in 2023 to celebrate the model’s 60th anniversary. The company pledged to make just 1,963 of them, honoring the 911’s first model year, and Porsche has assigned all but one of them in the United States to customers. Porsche Cars North America pulled this final 911 S/T from its internal vehicle pool—a first for the automaker here—to auction it off to help victims of the recent California wildfires through the American Red Cross.
The S/T has elements of the GT3 Touring and GT3 RS that create what we declared “might be the best road-focused performance car on sale” in 2023. At its heart sits a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine making 518 horsepower and a six-speed manual transmission. It also debuted as the lightest 992-generation 911 model, at 3,056 pounds.

Porsche painted the car in Shore Blue Metallic, exclusive to the S/T’s Design Heritage Package, with exclusive “Ceramica” wheels. It also features the brand’s classic style crest on the front, center caps, headrests, and steering wheel.
Options include a front axle lift system, an extended-range fuel tank (23.7 gallons), auto-dimming mirrors, park assist, and a Bose sound system. The car will also come with a bespoke timepiece from Porsche Design, which every S/T buyer gets, and an owner’s manual pouched signed by Andreas Preuninger, the director of Porsche’s GT model line. Porsche has already broke it in, too, doing so in Europe with the preparation team in Stuttgart. It has 956 miles on the odometer.

Bidding for the car, number 1,919 of 1,963, opens via RM Sotheby’s Online Only auction platform on February 18. Porsche is offering the car at no reserve, and RM is waiving its usual fees to maximize the proceeds going to the American Red Cross. The 911 S/T had a starting price of $291,650 before any options or packages. We suspect this one will go for a bit more than that.
