After a quarterfinal exit at the Geneva Open, Taylor Fritz will be back in singles action at the 2025 French Open, which begins on Sunday.
The 27-year-old American comes into Roland Garros at a career-high rank of World No. 4 after finishing as a runner-up in the 2024 US Open and 2024 ATP Finals.
However, clay courts have never been Fritz’s strongest suit as seen with his disappointing exits in the recently concluded Italian Open and Madrid Open.
This will be Fritz’s ninth French Open, with his best-ever finish at the tournament coming last year, when he made it to the fourth round.
Here’s everything you need to know about Fritz’s appearance at the French Open, including a television schedule, scores and results from Fritz’s’ matches at Roland Garros.
When is Taylor Fritz’s next match at French Open 2024?
Taylor Fritz will begin his 2025 French Open with a Round 1 bout against unseeded Daniel Altmaier. On paper, this game should be a breeze for Fritz, however, over the last year Altamaier held a better record in clay courts (10-7), and has a habit of punching above his weight, especially on clay.
The Round 1 match between Fritz and Altmaier is likely to take place on either Monday or Tuesday.
