That’s no surprise considering the fact that they are close friends away from the golf course.

I mean, I can’t tell, but it was enjoyable. I was hoping for him to make the last hole so we can play together. Hopefully Sunday.

The fact that Si Woo Kim wanted Scheffler alongside him in the final group on Saturday tells us everything we need to know about his mentality.

Si Woo Kim reacts to missing out on shooting a 59

The supremely talented 30-year-old only needed a par on his final hole to shoot a magical 59.

However, he made a sloppy bogey in the end, and responded when asked by reporters how he felt about shooting a 60.

Yeah, I had a great grouping, some of my favorite two players, and it was fun to play with them, Si Woo said.

I hit it great and putted great. So everything was perfect, other than the last hole. I’ll still take it. 60 is hard, but I was thinking a little bit about the 59 after I made that putt on 17. It was a little bit of like adrenalin.

Yeah, it was a tough shot, but I’ll take it still, 60.

Si Woo Kim has quite obviously got a great attitude when it comes to playing golf, and Scottie Scheffler will have his work cut out trying to catch his friend at the CJ CUP Byron Nelson this weekend.
