The line-ups are in for the first Serie A match on the Easter Sunday schedule, as relegation-threatened Empoli host Venezia in a massive game in the race for survival.
Empoli are currently in 19th place ahead of kick-off, while Venezia sit in 18th: Both have the same number of points (24) and both sit two points away from safety as things stand.
A draw will not be enough for either side to catch Lecce, who are in 17th with 26 points having played one game more than today’s competitors.
Empoli are coming in off the back of a 3-0 loss against second-placed Napoli last weekend, and have not tasted success since knocking Juventus out of the Coppa Italia quarter-finals on penalties. Their last victory in Serie A dates all the way back to a 4-1 win over Hellas Verona on December 8.
Venezia, meanwhile, picked up an important 1-0 win over Monza last time out in the league, which was their first league win since a 2-1 over Cagliari on December 22.
Kick-off on Sunday is due at 14.00 BST.
