This week, the 10th-ranked player in the world, who is a two-time winner this season, will miss out on the action at the BMW Championship at Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills, Maryland.

In a statement released by the PGA Tour:
Straka is fifth in the FedEx Cup Playoffs standings. He tied for 17th at the FedEx St. Jude Championship on Sunday. He’s also currently sixth in the Ryder Cup European team rankings.
Straka won The American Express and the Truist Championship earlier this season. He’s one of six golfers to have won at least two events in 2025. He has six top-10s this season and in his PGA Tour career, he’s collected four wins.
