Nelly Korda, who won seven times in 2024, has interestingly yet to win this season.
The 2025 LPGA season has been unlike any other in the tour’s 75-year history.
The streak of 26 different winners in 25 official events (including two at the Dow Championship team event) stands in stark contrast to last year’s dominant performance from former world No. 1 Nelly Korda, who won seven times in 2024 but interestingly has yet to win this season.
The streak includes current No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul, Lydia Ko (No. 3), Minjee Lee (No. 4), Charley Hull (No. 5) and seven rookies.
The record for most winners in a single year is 26, set in 1995, 2018 and 2022. This year is different, however, because the streak dates back to the first event of the season. Last week, South Korea’s Youmin Hwang, a non-member who competed on a sponsor invite, won the Lotte Championship to match the record set at 26.
