Professional golf has seen another sub-60 round. The latest was the handiwork of Scott Stevens at TPC Toronto in a PGA Tour Americas event Thursday.
Steven shot 11-under 59 in the Osprey Valley Open in Caledon, Ontario, his scorecard featuring two eagles, eight birdies and one bogey. It’s the lowest score on any of the PGA Tour-sanctioned circuits in 2026.

“It was an unbelievable day,” said Stevens. “I’m finally starting to feel a little more comfortable. I’ve just put so much pressure on myself and just wanted to play well so bad. That’s the last thing you can do in golf, is try to force it. So I think I’ve done a better job of, you know, keeping every shot its own and just hitting it.”

Stevens started on the second nine and got right to work with an eagle. He birdied his second hole, the par-4 11th, before his only bogey on the day at No. 12. From there, he posted three more birdies and another eagle at the par-5 16th. He had a real shot at 58 with an eagle try on the ninth hole (his last of the day) but just missed, settling for a tap-in birdie and a 59.
Stevens’ previous best was 64. He’s the fifth golfer to shoot 59 on the PGA Tour Americas.
A fun sidebar to this story: his girlfriend, Olivia Tidwell, is his caddie this week after flying in to surprise him ahead of the tournament.
“I don’t know if she knew what I was shooting or not, which was great because it kept me relaxed,” said Stevens. “We were talking about anything but golf. What a blessing it was to shoot 59 with her on the bag. I guess she has to work the next few days, too.”
