It’s time to take a look at the results from our SB Nation Reacts poll for this week, so let’s take a look at how Minnesota Vikings fans are feeling about our favorite football team.
Our first question for this week is how confident everyone is feeling about the Vikings heading into Week 2 of the 2026 regular season. You would think that a 17-point victory over a division rival would have folks brimming with confidence heading into the first road game of the season.

You would think that. . .and you’d be wrong.
Of those who responded to our poll for this week, just 46% feel that the team is moving in the right direction, a drop from 60% going into the season opener against Green Bay. Despite the margin of victory, I suppose that’s understandable given the way that things went. The team was trailing by double digits late in the third quarter, and the Packers pretty well melted down to help the Vikings get the victory in the fashion that they did. Sure, it’s nice to get a huge victory and send a division rival to an 0-1 start to the season, but there are significant reasons for concern as well.
Speaking of which, our other question for this week was exactly how concerned everyone is with the Vikings’ offense after their performance in Week 1. Yes, there is some panic to be had among Vikings nation when it comes to that side of the ball.
Of our respondents, we had 49% expressing at least a medium level of concern with the offense, so we almost got a majority there. The rest of the distribution is pretty evenly distributed, with 18% with a low level of panic, 17% slamming the panic button pretty significantly, and 16% thinking that everyone should just relax already.

There are, as we said, reasons for concern for the Minnesota offense. Jordan Mason is already slated to miss four games after going on injured reserve, Kyler Murray is out after suffering a concussion on Sunday, and in Week 1 only three teams put up fewer yards on offense than the Vikings did. Three of the Vikings’ touchdown drives against the Packers covered less than 30 yards, and overall the level of offensive play we saw from the Vikings isn’t sustainable over the long haul. Hopefully we’ll start seeing some improvements here starting on Sunday in Chicago.
