At the end of last season, there was some fear that the Buffalo Sabres would follow the same path as the other sports franchise in Western New York, the Buffalo Bills, and leave their longtime radio home in favor of producing their own broadcasts and finding another terrestrial broadcast option.

Game broadcasts featuring play-by-play man Dan Dunleavy and color commentator Rob Ray will continue to air on WGR AM (550) and WGR FM (107.7) in the Buffalo broadcast market, as well as on the Sabres and Audacy Apps.
