Big error on the 11th green from Robert MacIntyre and it’s now a long way back for Europe’s final pair.
The US team were three feet away in three and MacIntyre had a 15-foot lag putt to put their opponents under pressure to make it for the half.
But the Scot clumsily knocks his effort past, Viktor Hovland misses the one coming back and Patrick Cantlay makes the US’ putt to win a hole they looked like losing.
The US go three holes up.
