Russell Wilson took some time to meet with fans at Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital as the New York Giants benched the veteran quarterback in favor of rookie Jaxson Dart on Tuesday.

Wilson posted photos of the visit on X.

The 36-year-old signed a one-year, $10.5 million contract with the Giants in March.

He opened the 2025 season as New York’s starter under center, but was replaced by Dart following a disappointing 0-3 record to begin the year.

Wilson completed 59.1 percent of his throws for 778 yards and three touchdowns compared to three interceptions. He particularly struggled during a 22-9 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 3, finishing 18-of-32 for 160 yards while getting picked off twice.

Now, the Giants will turn to Dart at quarterback. New York selected the former Ole Miss standout in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft, trading up to add him with the No. 25 overall pick.

Despite Wilson’s demotion, he took the time to share pictures from his admirable gesture on Tuesday.
