Boston Red Sox outfielder Roman Anthony will miss the remainder of the 2026 AL wild-card series against the New York Yankees.
Anthony was pulled during Boston’s Game 1 loss to the Yankees on Tuesday. Afterward, he was diagnosed with damage to the muscles in his wrist. Anthony reportedly also aggravated the hand injury that bothered him throughout the 2026 season.

Manager Chad Tracy discussed the injury on Wednesday.
