Maurizio Sarri was recently mentioned as one of the candidates to take over Roma’s bench.
The Giallorossi continue to search for a new coach for next season and in the last few hours the name of Maurizio Sarri had gained traction.
As revealed by Angelo Mangiante of Sky Sport, however, the former Lazio coach, despite being liked by Claudio Ranieri, has never been contacted by the Giallorossi club.
Sarri appears eager to return to work following his exit from Lazio from last year, but he does not seem to be considered by Roma in their casting process.
