Riley Gaines delivered the prerace invocation at Sunday’s NASCAR COTA race.

Gaines, a former star swimmer at Station Camp and 12-time All-American at Kentucky, is an advocate against transgender athletes competing in women’s sports. She is also the host of Outkick’s podcast “Gaines for Girls.”

Gaines’ father, Brad Gaines, is a former Vanderbilt football player who was at the center of a devastating injury to Ole Miss’ Chucky Mullins, who was paralyzed from the neck down.

Riley Gaines did not mention anything about keeping transgender athletes out of women’s sports during her pre-race prayer.
