The 2024 All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway was won by Joey Logano. Surprisingly, the main storyline coming out of the exhibition race on the 0.625-mile track in the North Carolina foothills wasn’t the Team Penske driver leading a record 199 of the 200 laps and winning the million-dollar prize, but what happened immediately afterward when an upset Ricky Stenhouse Jr. started a brawl with Kyle Busch in the garage for an incident that happened early in the race.
Now a year later and the two drivers are both locked into Sunday’s race.
On Saturday, Fox’s Bob Pockrass posted a video on X with the thoughts of the two-time Cup Series champion on the Promoter’s Caution, which allows Speedway Motorsports Inc. CEO Marcus Smith the opportunity to throw a caution at any point between laps 100 and 220. Although, if a natural caution comes out after Lap 200, the special yellow is no longer an option.
“Do we want to put money on if I create a natural caution or I let Marcus throw a caution?” Busch said. “It depends on how far Kyle Larson’s out leading the race.”
Stenhouse posted a reply to Busch’s remarks.

“Just a heads up, may want to pick a different driver this year,” the No. 47 driver warned.
