Richard Torrez Jr. looks to elevate himself to the next level of his career. He takes on Guido Vianello on April 5. The fight in Las Vegas airs on ESPN+ in the U.S.

Torrez (12-0) headlines a card after impressing in several undercard events. The third-generation boxer won silver at the 2020 Olympics and is a two-time U.S. National Championships gold medalist.

The 25-year-old has won all but one of his fights via knockout. With all eyes on him, Torrez is ready to prove he’s the next big thing at heavyweight.

“I’ve been ready, I’ve been asking, I’ve been eager to show the world what I have to offer, and I think this is a great fight to be able to do so,” Torrez said via Bad Left Hook. “I think he’s a great boxer, he utilizes distance, and he has some very long punches, but with that being said, I think my style is made for that. I like being inside, I like staying inside, and I like having a fight.”
